Graduation
It’s that time of year again…where a young adult begins a new chapter of life and steps into the big world in hopes of chasing their goals and dreams. I can totally remember my high school graduation, 15 years ago, back in 2002. It was filled with mixed emotions of excitement and fear at the same time. It was knowing that I could do anything in the world if I put my mind into it. It was being surrounded by family members and close friends, who supported me in whatever path I chose.
I do believe that it is important to surround yourself with positivity and a circle of friends who will only lift you up and aspire you to do better. Because there will certainly be times when you feel like giving up or when negativity is thrown at you from left to right. With focus, drive, and determination, you will ensure that the journey to adulthood has just begun. Just remember: your greatest competitor is yourself…and so be a better version of yourself than you were yesterday.
